Military Service:
Sarah is a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army Reserves at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. She previously earned her Airborne Wings and a Combat Action Badge during her time in Iraq.

About Sarah
Sarah W. Anderson founded SWA Law LLC and LegallyCyber.com, representing public and private entities on cyber incident response, regulatory compliance, the implementation of enhanced cybersecurity practices, artificial intelligence integration, and contract negotiations involving technology products and services. Sarah teaches seminars on cybersecurity law across the United States, for non-profits, trade associations, corporate entities, and government entities. In less than 3 years, Sarah expanded SWA Law LLC from a solo practice to three (3) attorneys, with one (1) Certified Information Privacy Professional/US.
Assisting with over 150 cyber incident responses, Sarah advises leaders and technology professionals on preventing and mitigating liability before, during, and after a cyber incident. Sarah proudly promotes awareness of technology law and consistently monitors state and federal law on emerging issues such as artificial intelligence and social media. Sarah is licensed to practice in four (4) states: Louisiana, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Illinois.​

Prior to founding SWA Law, Sarah was in-house counsel with a technology non-profit and a “big law“ equity partner, focused on toxic tort and property litigation. In her former practice, she assisted oil and petrochemical industry clients with industrial hygiene issues and expropriation proceedings. Sarah also formerly served as the chief legal counsel for the State of Louisiana ESF-17 (Cyber Response), Cyber Law Judge Advocate for the Louisiana National Guard, and Legal Liaison for the Louisiana Cybersecurity Commission. Sarah was also a member of the AFCEA Homeland Security and Cyber Committees.

Professional Training and Instruction
​​Sarah teaches seminars on cybersecurity law across the United States, including non-profits, trade associations, and government entities. Sarah is regularly invited to train Judges and civic leaders on cybersecurity law issues and draft/review cybersecurity legislation for state and federal agencies. She provides cybersecurity and artificial intelligence law training and educational seminars through SWA Law LLC's sister company, Green Wall LLC.
